Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Wide Open Music Publishing was launched in 2013 by industry executives Ash Bowers and Steve Williams. The company found success with Brett Young’s triple-platinum single “In Case You Didn’t Know,” which spent two weeks atop the Billboard and Mediabase charts, as well as Jimmie Allen’s three-week chart-topping “Best Shot,” Matt Stell’s “Prayed For You,” and, most recently, George Birge’s “Mind On You” and “Cowboy Songs.”
Wide Open Music’s primary focus has always been creating an environment where artists and writers can come together to create fresh, bold music without any boundaries or rules. Wide Open is a place where creatives are encouraged and supported in reaching their full potential, without being pressured to conform to industry standards or preconceived expectations of what music should sound like.
